Northern Cyprus
The Cyprus plan runs on PrimeTel. Our partner operator’s description of it doesn’t mention the north of the island, so we don’t promise it in Northern Cyprus, including Kyrenia and Famagusta. The Turkey plan says plainly that it does not cover Northern Cyprus.
For the north there is a separate Northern Cyprus plan, on the Turkcell network; the Global plan lists both Cyprus and Northern Cyprus. If your trip takes in both sides of the island, you need a plan for each side or the Global plan.
On UK networks the north is usually priced apart from the rest of Cyprus: O2 puts North Cyprus in its Zone 3, Tesco Mobile in Region 2 and Lyca Mobile in Zone 5, and Vodafone pay monthly lists it with Turkey. Check your network’s rate for the north before you cross.

The plan that costs least for the whole trip: for 7 days, 1 GB at £0.43 a day; for 15 days, 2 GB at £0.27 a day; for 30 days, 3 GB at £0.17 a day. Unused days are not refunded.
Which network does the eSIM use in Cyprus?
Only PrimeTel (4G): it is the single partner network for Cyprus in the catalogue. Where PrimeTel has no coverage, this eSIM has no signal either, so on a remote route check that PrimeTel covers it.
What if the eSIM doesn't work when you land in Cyprus?
